As an international carrier, CHT-I provides TWGate Service to the domestic ISP, ICP and academic institutes in order to meet their needs of international bandwidth for traffic on Internet. In Taiwan, TWGate is the largest IP Internet Gateway connected with the Internet worldwide. To speed up transmission, CHT TWGate get connected not only with USA, HK, Macau and China by direct high-speed circuits, but also with other Asian countries (including Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and the Philippines) in use of the AIN set up by MAC.
